The league stage of the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League 2019 is in its final round. The six playoff spots have been decided and the fight for the crown will now intensify. The season seven of the league has been a joy to watch as there have been nail-biting encounters throughout. The playoffs will begin from 14th of October. Dabang Delhi K.C

Dabang Delhi has been a dominant force in this season of the Pro Kabaddi League. Out of the 21 games playes, the team has won 15 games and has lost only four of them. Its two games have ended in a tie. Dabang Delhi has qualified for the playoffs as table toppers with 82 points.

Though Dabang Delhi has been unbeatable more often than not, it has shown a downfall in form in the recent games. Out of the four games that it has lost, two have been lost consecutively in the last two league games. It will, therefore, look to regain its form before the playoff in its next league game against U Mumba. Naveen Kumar has been the most succesful raider for the team and has 256 raid points currently. Ravinder Pahal has been the best defender for the side and cureently bags 57 tackle points.

Bengal Warriors

Bengal Warriors is another such side which has shown great grit and determination. It has won 13 of the 21 games played so far. It has lost five games, whereas three games have been tied. It is currently ranked second on the standing table with 78 points.

Recently, Bengal Warriors has been in a good run. It has won two of its last three games and will now face Tamil Thalaivas on 09th October. Maninder Singh has been the best raider for the team so far. He has bagged a total of 205 raid points. Baldev Singh, on the other hand, has been the best defender and has clinched 61 tackle points.

Haryana Steelers

Haryana Steelers has also won the same number of games as Bengal Warriors. But, it has lost seven games till now and that is the reason why it is one spot below Bengal Warriors. The Haryana Steelers has had one tie to its name and has qualified for the playoffs with 70 points currently in 21 games.

Haryana has portrayed a decent form recently. It has won two out of its last three games. It will face U Mumba in its last league match on October 10. Vikash Kandola has been the most succesful raider for the side. Currently he has 172 raid points to his name. Sunil has been the most succesful defender and has 51 tackle points till date.

U.P. Yoddha

U.P. Yoddha has also showed a decent run of form. Out of the 20 games played so far, the side has won 12 of them. It has lost six games and two have been tied. U.P. Yoddha currently sits at numer four in the standings table with 68 points in its 20 games.

The team has been magnificent recently and has won its last three games. It has two league games left before the playoffs and it will look to carry on with the good run. Shrikant Jadhav has been the best raider and has won 123 raid points for his team. Sumit has been brilliant at defence and has won 65 tackle points.

U Mumba

U Mumba has also qualified for the playoffs. It has won 11 of its 20 games played so far. The team has lost eight games and one of its game has been tied. It is currently number five and has 64 points to its name.

U Mumba has won two of its last three games, having won the last two consecutively. It has two league games left and if it continues with the same momentum, it might climb up the standings table. As far as its star players are concerned, Abhishek SIngh has bagged 125 raid points. Fazal Atrachali has been the most succesful defender for them with 64 tackle points.

Bengaluru Bulls

Bengaluru Bulls became the most recent side to qualify for the playoffs. It has won 11 out of the 21 games played so far. The team has lost nine games and has tied one. It has 64 points which equals U Mumba’s tally but the latter has played one game less.

The Bulls have been decent in recent times. They have won two of their last three encounters. They will play the final league game of the season against U.P. Yoddha on 11th October. Pawan Kumar Sehrawat has been the star raider, not only for the team, but for the tournament. He has a staggering 295 raid points to his name. Mahender Singh has been the best defender for the side with 51 tackle points.
